Try to avoid being perceived as a spammer, even if you tactics are indeed spamarific. Have others submit your content first, don’t vote for or review your content from your account, etc. It’s tempting I know, but refrain… really. The last thing you want is for all your hard work to be discounted by you trying to get it out there too aggressively.

No brainer here: Submit good content… nuff said.

Linkbait your titles, descriptions and keywords dont just copy and paste or summarize the content. There have been a few stories lately about men marrying dogs (literally) for one reason or another (a curse comes to mind)… so I said what the hey and went with – Man marries real bitch to …..? Easy and common tactic but easy to overlook when you’re thinking “Social Bookmarking” rather than “Linkbait”.

Network with others trying to do the same in an effort to cross-promote. Say you have a great e-book product, if you find other marketers that may have say a great affiliate program for example. Work together submitting articles for one another and promoting each others products. There are organizations out there like this, including traffic swapping, banner swapping, etc.

Include Digg and Stumble widgets on your content so it can easily be submitted by others.
